Optimistic?

I went to the doctor yesterday. Before checking my cervix, he asked, "Are you optimistic?"

I answered, "Not really, but I can always hope!"

He then did what he does and said, "Yeah, no need to be optimistic."

I asked, "Nothing?"

He answered, "Nothing, at all."

He's a really nice man (kinda reminds me of Bill Boy), but I wanted to punch him! I know, I know, hate the message, not the messenger.

My cousins wife had her baby several weeks early a few days ago. She was due on the 30th of September! I am so happy that she and baby are doing great, but, oh, SO JEALOUS! Can't I be early, too!? Even one day!

Every night that I go into work (L&D) I look at the board to see if your name is there, then I check the birthing book.
We are all waiting for ya to make that move.
Hope to see you real soon!

The last few days of pregnancy last an eternity. You would think that by baby #3, that you would know and accept the routein, but it gets no easier. When I was pregnant with Jack, and got checked "the first time", he told me I would go past my due date and like you said, I wanted to punch him out. Then, I went the next week and got the same spill, again, I wanted to know out the Dr. (like he had anything to do with it), but you are just to the point of needing someone to blame things on. However, then the baby gets here and the days FLY by, why is that? Good luck these last few days, he will be here soon.
Okay, and I must ask where you got your backdrop, I love it!! I think I am ready to change a few things on my blog. Can you enlighten me??

I meant, Knock out the Dr, not Know out the Dr., sorry!

The end is so hard when you are so ready to have that baby, and wishing so much that it will be early. At my 36 week check with Bennett, I was dialated to a 4! I was so excited, and just knew the baby would come any day. It was three more weeks before my water broke. So painful to wait that long. Can't wait for it to happen for you!

Aly, I'm so excited for you!!! I can't wait until you post your good news- that the baby has FINALLY come!! Just think, three kids are harder to load up in the car. Enjoy having two- for a little while longer!!!

Yeah, I was a week late and when I went to be induced I was still "nothing". I feel your pain.

It was good to hear from you! Good luck to you and the arrival of your new little guy. I am sure he will be as cute as your others. You have such an awesome family. I am anxious to check back in to see that he safely arrived. I drove into your old apt complex and thought of you today as well. You are great and I miss having such a sweet person around. Those were good old primary days weren't they?! Hang in there!
