Expanding.....

Well, for those of you who don't know yet, our family is expanding and so is my waistline! We figured it was time to add to our happy little crew, so come September, he/she will be here. The boys are excited and seem to want a sister (no prodding from Mom, I promise) and I am excited for the next few weeks to pass so I can feel better. The heartburn, my gosh, the heartburn! (You'll only get that if you've seen a particular episode of Seinfeld) I feel like someone has put a blow torch inside of my chest. It's a miserable as anything I've ever experienced, but, this too shall pass, as my wise mother always tells me. I just have to remember the payoff. I am hoping for twins though, so then I'll never have to be pregnant again!

I'll pray you have twins too -- no one wants to go through that kind of miserable heartburn! I hope you're doing well -- talk to you soon.

Congratulations!!! What a great time to have a baby! You are such a great mommy to your cute boys, so you need to have more babies! I feel so bad for you with all that heartburn.....take a long bubble bath and put in your favorite CD for distraction:) That always makes me feel a little bit better!

Aly I don't think you want twins!! I am sorry you have heartburn. I tried some prilosec OTC, worked wonders and is completely safe! Give it a try! are you Nausiated? Yuck, I must say watching all you pregnant women has cured me from not having any more children.

What great news! Congratulations! I am very excited for you. I too am sorry about the heartburn. It is miserable, but take Prilosec like Kellie said. It's works wonders.

And about the twin thing, you are so funny. I remember distinctly saying in my dad's office YEARS ago that I would never want twins. And here I am with 2 sets. They are a blessing as long as they get here safely and you have lots of extra willing hands for the first bit. It really is great they have a buddy forever. Let me know if they see two babies. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Well, I tried the Prilosec. I actually started using that before I even started feeling the heartburn because I knew it was coming, but it didn't work. I am now on Nexium and it seems to be helping a little. I was this same way with my other kids, too. The thing that really makes it go away is time! I'm just hoping for the next few weeks to fly by!

Congratulations! That's wonderful! I hear you on the heartburn. I end up on massive doses of prescription Zantac when I'm pregnant. Thinking pink for you . . .
