I love summer and I love summer holidays. We had a great Fourth of July. We went up to my aunt's pool during the day and got together with family in the evening. The weather was perfect, if only we could have gotten rid of the mosquitoes!
leah was saying, "dear god, make me a bird, so i can fly far, far away..." :) j/k. leah was missin' home - but having a great time enjoyin' the horrah that was the fourth of july in good ol' rolesville, nc! (the locals call it rosevull, remember that!)
Leah- I sure was missing you and yours at the cookout. Its part of the reality of having a large family, but its ok because the times together are sweet and sustaining! Mike and Shi will also learn the art of "splitting" time- shoot, so will Joel and Lauren as they prepare to move to Pennsylvania in a few weeks. No matter the distance, we truly are blessed with our family, our children, and our grandchildren.
I sure love you- hope you're feeling better today.
